Join us for an INCREDIBLE JOURNEY
June 7-8, 8:30 am-4 pm
‘Teaching and Learning with Monarch Butterflies’ is a two-day workshop combining classroom and field experiences. It enables pre-K through 12th grade educators to teach essential skills in literacy, math, science, geography, technology, Spanish, the arts and social studies… through the captivating story of monarchs. Workshop participants complete the workshop with all the materials they need to bring this exciting and dynamic story into their classrooms, homes and communities.
MONARCH SIGHTINGS
Let us know if you see a milkweed plant, monarch egg, caterpillar or adult butterfly! Interactive maps track monarchs during their journey from Mexico, up to Canada and back, and your map entries will provide valuable information to help scientists determine ways to save the species.
